Oyster Soup

Ingredients

  • • None 1 quart of oysters 2 tablespoonfuls butter
  • • None 1 quart rich milk 1 tablespoonful flour
  • • None 1 teacupful of hot water pepper and salt

Step 1. Strain all the liquor from the oysters, add water; heat; when

Step 3. oysters. Cook about 5 minutes from the time they begin to simmer, until they curl at the edges. Stir in the butter; cook 1

Step 4. minute and pour into the tureen. Stir in the boiling milk and send to the table.
