Okra Soup

Ingredients

  • • None Take a piece of shin; if you have it, a ham bone. Pepper and
  • • None salt the shin and dredge it with flour. Put it with 2 onions and
  • • None a bunch of parsley in the kettle, add 1 gallon of water and boil
  • • None until meat is tender. Strain, return to the kettle, add 1 dozen

Step 1. peeled tomatoes and 1/2 peck of green okra, cut in slices, and 3

Step 2. ears of corn cut carefully from the cob.
