Step 1. Cut celery and apples into small pieces, add nuts. Garnish

Step 2. with fringed celery tops, and pass mayonnaise.

Step 3. To fringe celery tops, cut in pieces 2 or 3 inches long. Slash

Step 4. the ends and stand in cold water for an hour or so to curl.
