Ingredients

  • • None 3 pints of flour 1 heaping tablespoonful lard
  • • None 1 teaspoonful of soda pinch of salt
  • • None 1 teaspoonful of cream of tartar 1 pint of sour milk

Instructions

Step 1. Sift flour with soda and cream of tartar several times; add salt,

Step 2. then rub in the lard; add gradually the milk; work it well and cut into biscuits and bake in quick oven.
