Ingredients

  • • None 1 pint of flour 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder
  • • None 2 eggs pinch of salt

Step 1. Beat the eggs, add the milk, sour milk or cream may be used, but

Step 2. if so, put in 1 level teaspoonful of soda dissolved in hot water and

Step 3. make a smooth batter; pour by spoonful on griddle and cook to

Step 5. same way only adding a cup of boiled rice, canned corn or hominy,

Step 6. or i pint of Graham flour, bread crumbs or rye flour with 1/2 pint of white flour for variety.
