Christmas Plum Pudding

Ingredients

  • • None 2 pounds bread crumbs, sifted 1 pound currants, washed, dried
  • • None 1 pound moist brown sugar rubbed in flour
  • • None 1 pound suet, chopped fine and 1/2 pound candied peel

Instructions

Step 1. rubbed well in flour, with a 1 cup nuts, chopped fine

Step 2. pinch of salt 1 teaspoonful each of cinnamon,

Step 3. 2 tablespoonfuls flour allspice, nutmeg, ginger and

Step 4. 1| pound raisins, chopped, not too cloves fine 3 eggs Mix all well together, moisten with a little milk. Dip pudding

Step 5. bags in boiling water and flour, put the batter in the bags; tie, steam 5 hours. Eat with hard sauce.
