Ingredients

  • • None li cup sugar 1 tablespoonful butter
  • • None 2 cups grated bread crumbs 1/4 cup jelly or jam
  • • None 1/4 1 quart rich sweet milk 1 teaspoonful vanilla
  • • None 4 eggs
  • • None Cream the butter and 1 cup sugar, add the well beaten yolks,

Instructions

Step 1. stir, then the milk in which the bread crumbs have been soaked,

Step 2. and flavor, put in a pudding dish two-thirds full, bake in the oven,

Step 3. until the custard is set. Spread with the jelly, make a meringue

Step 4. of the whites, and remaining i cup of sugar, return to the oven
