Ingredients

  • • None 3 cups French chestnuts 2 cups sugar
  • • None 1 pound candied fruit 1 cup water
  • • None 4 eggs (yolks) 1 pint cream
  • • None wineglass sherry 1 teaspoonful vanilla

Instructions

Step 1. Boil the chestnuts, remove shell and skins, and rub them

Step 2. through a sieve. Cut the fruit in small pieces, and pour the wine
