A Simple Claret Cup

Ingredients

  • • None Put the juice of 2 lemons and 4 oranges with a teacupful of
  • • None sugar into a tall glass pitcher, add 3 or 4 slices of the orange, 3 or 4

Instructions

Step 1. slices of pineapple, a pint of cold tea, and set away in a cold place

Step 2. for several hours. T Mien ready to serve fill the pitcher half full of broken ice and add a pint of claret. Mint Julep

Step 3. Place in a tall glass several long sprigs of fresh mint, strip 2

Step 4. other sprigs of mint and place them in a mixing glass, add a tea-

Step 5. spoonful of powdered sugar. Crush the mint leaves, add a wine

Step 6. glass of whisky, stir and strain into the original glass. Sprinkle

Step 7. a little sugar over the leaves, add some powdered ice, and serve with a straw.
